i have realised that if i ever want to get anything done i need to make a list. sometimes, to get me started the first item on my list is ... to write a list. then i get to tick that sucker off. today i wrote three lists. my favourite was a collection name ideas. this list is also my least favourite. full of stupid ideas that i don't want to use and not full of any i do. (any name suggestions on the subject of prisms would be quite helpful.)

dear name god. please send me a name. from a valued customer.

one item on my list is to go to lonsdale and pick up some neoprene off cuts. quite exciting! i also think i might pop into the needle nook. see if i can pick their wise nanna crocheting minds.

talking on the phone has never been my best skill. tending to muddle my words and twist my tongue, i really should practice more. I hope the girl on the other end at the fabric printing store doesn't go home and tell her roomie about me. If she does, i hope at least she gets a six pack from laughing so much.

i have chosen my parade song. only two peeps and one dog know. I know. libby knows. willis knows.

summer rolls and cashews

unsure about what to write today, i decided apon not writing anything. willis however thought it wise to mention the fact that i did indeed eat one summer roll and about fifty million cashews in order to find the inspiration needed for today's tasks. These pictures below helped me too... i believe.

i just received a little delivery from the postman. i think his name was pat. he brought me one hundred stars.  thankyou pat.

If you were at the Mary Martin Bookshop on the Parade today, you may have been witness to myself and Karli having our second little meet. Karli is doing some fabric designs for me and today she showed me the first fresh batch. Karli (alias: starlight) i have to say you have done me proud.

today i bought a book

It is terribly funny when funny things happen.

today i bought a novel - in fact it is no longer what one would call a novel, yet a shell of a book with blank pages inside which I'm planning do my collection sketches in - The book is called: Feuds and Friendships and was written by Cicely Fraser. Once i had purchased this said book for a said $30 i thought to myself... gosh! what a swell book.

Now I'm home and i think the pages are too thick! If Libby were here i think she would agree.
