surprise!!!
all is good in the world when you can throw a successful surprise birthday party! the birthday girl (for the sake of the story we shall call her... princess) was totally unaware and i quote..."i nearly cried... then i said to my self, pull it together princess!" the surprise was a few months in the making, took a lot of tom foolery and little bit of magic dust, finally (with a great sigh from my self) the party came together at the moonlight cinema and princess was most delighted!
tips for throwing your own surprise party...
1. don't organise it on facebook! more than likely you dont know all her/his friends, then you will have to add them and then all hell breaks loose!
2. don't try to bake if you are not co-ordinated! and keep the tea towls away from the elecric beater.
3. avoid encouraging the birthday person to organise their own party.
4. think of handy excuses in advance incase the moment arises when she/he starts asking questions...
