day two

what else is there to do on an icy cold day in adelaide but to take a page out of hello kitty's glistening book of sunshine and try something once... twice if i like it! 

i watched a three minute video on how to do a bow using your own hair. looked simple enough... the girl in the video used one hair tie, 4 bobby pins and all of her hair...!  one hour, one can of hairspray, two hair ties, two broken hair ties, 10 bobby pins and only one third of my hair later... success!!!!

(someone really needs to start a blog entitled... survival tips 101 - thick haired girls living in a thin hair world.)

I packed my bag with all the essentials... hello kitty stamp set suitcase, hello kitty comb, hello kitty tea towl holder and all the hello kitty magnets i could find!

i had a lovely day eating all of hello kitty's favourite foods at the shanghai tea house, met up with some friends in peter alexander and taught piano using only hello kitty's favourite music!
